About Alejandro MacArio

As a Mental Performance Coach and Sport & Performance Psychology professional, I help athletes and high performers build the mental skills required to thrive under pressure, adapt to adversity, and sustain excellence over time. Over the past 3+ years, I’ve worked in professional baseball and across endurance and team sports, integrating evidence-based psychology with the real-world demands of elite competition.Currently, I serve as a Human Performance Coach in the Baltimore Orioles organization, working primarily with Latin American players. My role combines on-field observation, 1:1 mental skills coaching, group workshops, and collaboration with coaches, medical, and performance staff to support the whole athlete—on and off the field.My perspective is shaped by my own journey as a college baseball player at four programs in five years and as a competitive triathlete and a x3 IRONMAN 70.3 finisher. I understand the athlete experience from the inside: injuries, role changes, performance slumps, roster moves, and the identity challenges that come with it.
