ABOUT AALOK MEHTA

In a world full of 7 billion people, the one common attribute we share is our health. As an undergraduate at Rutgers University majoring in Public Health, I have knowledge in both the natural sciences and social sciences and with this, it gives me the ability to tackle situations on both spectrum of health. In addition to this knowledge, my work experience has enhanced my skills in engaging with people and effectively working with co-workers, becoming more organized and detailed oriented and time oriented. In addition to these skills, I am currently a research assistant at the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling. My position here has also enhanced my skills with statistical programs such as SPSS, giving me the ability to handle data and analysis work. With this knowledge and experience, it gives me more confidence to tackle what comes my way. But even with my current experience and skill set, there is much more in store; to me, one of the most important skills is self-betterment. This helps to gain more skills and experience to better improve myself and to stand out among the crowd. With this, it provides a strong structure for personal development and the ability to get ahead.
