As a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Member, I served as a student representative, voicing ideas and providing feedback to help shape and guide the organization’s programs and community efforts. I collaborated with peers and staff to promote events, lead discussions, and ensure that youth perspectives were actively included in decision-making.One of my most meaningful contributions was helping to plan the organization\'s 15-Year Anniversary Celebration for the Last Photo Project. As a team, we fundraised by selling raffle tickets, engaged with community members, and spoke directly with investors to inspire them to support and invest in our shared dream. We worked hard to turn a vision into reality, not only celebrating the past 15 years but building momentum for the future.Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in leadership, communication, and event planning. I also learned how to facilitate meetings, run workshops, and create spaces where youth voices are heard, valued, and acted upon.
