Hello, I\'m Aalijah, a passionate and driven professional with a BS in Business (Honors) specializing in Human Resource Management from Forman Christian College University, graduated in 2023. Currently, I\'m on the verge of completing my master\'s in Business Analytics at the University of Warwick, where I have gained substantial experience and forged meaningful connections.At Warwick, I initially worked in the Department of Physics, where I played a pivotal role in HR operations, encompassing recruitment and other essential HR functions. I then transitioned to the Department of Chemistry, taking on the role of Operations Support Assistant. There, I managed web content, travel logistics, finance coordination, and provided direct support to the Head of Department. Now, I’m back in the Physics department, continuing to contribute significantly to its success.In addition to my departmental roles, I am honored to serve as the Vice President of the Students\' Union at Warwick. This position allows me to advocate for my peers, uphold democratic values, and work tirelessly to deliver on my commitments to the student body.My journey from Pakistan to the UK has been a testament to my resilience and determination. After facing political victimization in Pakistan, I was motivated to run for the Students\' Union, driven by my strong belief in democracy and serving the community. My early days in the UK were challenging, including an unpleasant job where I experienced racism and mistreatment. However, these hardships have only strengthened my resolve and appreciation for the supportive professional environment I now enjoy.I am also committed to social impact, having volunteered as a frontline social worker with the Office of the Commissioner Lahore Division during the Covid-19 outbreak. Furthermore, my role as a facilitator with Soliya, an online platform for intercultural exchange, has enriched my understanding of global diversity and enhanced my communication skills.My expertise in HR, data analytics, and leadership positions me as a valuable asset to any organization dedicated to making a difference. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to drive positive change.
