Lead enterprise architecture (EA) practice across the bank and run the Innovation Lab. This dual role includes setting the bank’s target-state architecture, standards, and non‑functional requirements (NFRs), integrating EA governance with portfolio and Supply Chain intake, and driving modernization and secure adoption of agentic AI, conversational AI, and other transformative financial technologies. Key Responsibilities- Own the EA vision, principles, standards, and guardrails across application, data, integration, cloud, security, and platform domains- Define target-state architectures and reference patterns; rationalize platforms and capabilities to reduce risk and complexity- Advance cloud & platform engineering, APIs, and shared services to accelerate time‑to‑value and reduce duplicative spend- Embed Zero Trust, data protection, observability, and business continuity into architectures and delivery pipelines- Operate a lab with a mix of dedicated teams and rotating members to engage the broader company- Lead discovery, rapid experimentation, and incubation for agentic AI, conversational AI, and next‑gen fintech; move validated bets to pilot/scale with enterprise guardrails- Build an architecture community of practice, mentor architects, and manage the standards lifecycle- Establish evidence‑based investment decisions through standardized tech assessments and clear KPIs for each experiment- Leverage university and industry ties to stay current on emerging tech and build a screening/evaluation motion for startups (architecture fit, security, scale, and regulatory posture).
