ABOUT AAKANSHA SHARMA
I am a Civil Engineering graduate and Gold Medalist (Batch Topper) from GJU & ST, Hisar, with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Aryabhatt Institute of Technology, Delhi.I completed my apprenticeship at AtkinsRéalis (Transportation – Highways), contributing to Active Travel schemes for Surrey County Council (UK). My work included preparing and updating design layouts in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, adding road markings, signboards, tactile paving, raised tables, and supporting vehicle tracking. I also became familiar with key UK standards such as LTN 1/20, Traffic Signs Manual (TSM), and tactile paving guidelines.In addition, I gained site exposure during my internship at HAU, Haryana (Girls’ Hostel Project), where I worked on foundations, reinforcement, concrete execution, and QA/QC.As a fresher, I am adaptable, quick to learn, and open to opportunities across the civil engineering domain, eager to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects.
