ABOUT AAKANSHA CHAUDHARI

I’m Akansha Chaudhari, a fourth-year BA LLB student at Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College, Pune (Pimpri).In school, I secured 88.89% in Class 10th and 80% in Class 12th (Science stream). I actively participated in extra-curricular activities and was part of the debate team, which helped me improve my communication and critical thinking skills.After graduating, I followed my growing interest in law and joined Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College. Over the past two years, I have participated in various debate and moot court competitions and currently serve as an active member of the Moot Court Society.I interned for 2 months at IPR law firm specializing in Intellectual Property Rights. As a Trademark Intern: Authored 20 trademark-related blogs published on the firm\'s page • Conducted trademark availability searches • Assisted in drafting and filing trademark applications under the Trade Marks Act, • Helped in preparing responses to Examination Reports issued by the Trade Marks Registry • Conducted legal research on trademark infringement and passing off casesThis internship improved my legal writing, research, and drafting skills, and gave me a deeper understanding of IPR and trademark law.I later interned at Vintage Legal for a month, where I: • Wrote 2 journal articles • Completed a case analysis • Wrote a news article • Learned the basics of legal research• I am still finding my area of interest in law but would like to explore the IPR, and Corporate fields.
