I am a Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data platforms across banking, telecom, and healthcare domains. Currently working at UBS, I’m part of the Market Risk team building cloud-based risk models aligned with FRTB regulations using Azure Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Spring Boot, and Azure Data Lake.My journey began with Hadoop (1.x and 2.x), where I built robust pipelines using Pig, Hive, HBase, and MapReduce. As the ecosystem matured, I transitioned to Spark, Kafka, and modern cloud services across AWS and Azure.Over the years, I’ve delivered data-driven solutions involving real-time streaming (Amazon MSK, AVRO), CI/CD automation (CodePipeline, JUnit), and data security (IAM, Kerberos, Secrets Manager).
