ABOUT AAJAH SAUTER
Aajah Sauter is a Toronto-based and Edmonton-born journalist who is passionate about arts, culture, social justice reporting, and documentary filmmaking. With five years of print/digital writing and reporting under her belt, she has worked for The Globe and Mail\'s Report on Business desk where she wrote stories about personal finances and the labour market. As a 2024 CJF fellow, she has worked for CBC\'s Front Burner, Marketplace, The Current, Q, and Commotion. Through her academic internship with The Globe and Mail\'s podcast, The Decibel, she gained invaluable experience in podcast producing and audio editing. Aajah worked as a Production Assistant at CKUA Radio, Canada’s first public and educational broadcaster, where she recorded, produced, and announced on air promos throughout the summer of 2024. During her studies, she worked as the Opinion and Culture editor for The Griff, MacEwan University\'s news publication where she profiled numerous local artists and cultural events, and produced several podcasts, radio stories, and documentary films for class projects. Aajah earned a B.A. in Communications With Distinction and majored in Journalism.
