ABOUT AAHIL SHEIKH

I hold a Master\'s in Public Policy from Sciences Po, Paris, specializing in Digital, New Technology, and Public Policy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Political Science from the University of Delhi. My interests include understanding the intersection of technology, public policy, and how they affect the most vulnerable communities online. With demonstrated experience in trust and safety, policy analysis, legal research, data analysis and visualisation, and community outreach, I seek to apply my skills to explore how internet culture and social media algorithms influence our socio-political behaviour and shape our online experiences. I am currently a Junior Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, where my work has been recognized by the European Commission, the Australian eSafety Commissioner, Ofcom, the G7, Politico, and more. My research paper on AI transparency and risk auditing was also recognised on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in France in 2025. I seek to utilise my academic training and professional experience at the intersection of AI safety and platform governance to work towards building a safer internet while contributing to tackling the most pressing technology policy issues of our time.
