Develop comprehensive whole-building energy simulations to guide the design of new structures and retrofit of existing ones. • Conduct field surveys, feasibility studies, and energy audits, and implement energy conservation measures to reduce building energy consumption, operational greenhouse gas emissions, and utility costs.• Advise clients, design teams, and staff on high-performance building strategies to achieve green building design certification targets - LEED, CaGBC ZCB, Envision, etc.• Perform life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) to evaluate the financial performance of design options and create visualizations to effectively communicate analysis outcomes.• Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop custom tools, workflows, and analytical approaches to maintain the firm\'s position at the forefront of sustainable design.• Perform life cycle analysis (LCA) to assess embodied carbon and other environmental impacts of designs, recommending measures to mitigate these impacts.• Provide quality assurance and peer reviews related to sustainability services.• Develop proposals for sustainability services, including decarbonization plans, energy audits, green building certifications, whole building lifecycle assessments (WbLCAs), compliance energy modeling, HVAC options analysis, and product LCAs.• Engage in business development through speaking at local and international conferences, client outreach, and identifying collaboration opportunities.• Work across diverse project typologies, including new and existing buildings, campuses, portfolios, district/city scale developments, and infrastructure projects such as waterfronts, high-speed rail corridors, highways, and urban streets.• Work across various sectors, including commercial (offices, retail), residential (high-rise mixed-use), industrial, education, healthcare, federal, and transportation.
