About Aadithya J Nair
Everything is hard before it is easy,” said Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, one of the most influential writers in the German language. In law, it seems to work the other way round.Law is so dynamic that the more one delves into it, the more it can get complex yet stimulating, too. That is why I let the path define my goal. I’m a fifth-year BA LLB (H) student at NLU, Kochi-and my intellectual appetite for law has its roots in my extensive reading of history and economics, debating, MUNing and creative writing all of which have been rewarding experiences since my school days. My internships at Trilegal (including a call-back in Mumbai), JSA, Anand & Anand, Fox Mandal and Samvad Partners have helped me find my passion in corporate and financial laws, and focus particularly on capital markets and general corporate. The internships, along with my internship in commercial and civil law at the Chambers of Supreme Court Senior Advocate Menaka Guruswamy, taught me to find real-world solutions, and honed my research and analytical, critical thinking, drafting and legal writing, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills. The excellent feedback to my work during my internships by my mentors and associate lawyers has reinforced my confidence to pursue my dream of corporate and financial laws and litigation. At my law school, while achieving a top grade with a CGPA of 8+, I’ve been able to chase my passions—debating and writing. Participating in national- and state-level mooting and debating competitions, I’ve won and received awards and recognitions, such as the best speaker twice in the renowned Toastmasters Inter-State Speaking Competitions and best memorial for research at the NLS-SAM FinTech Moot Court Competition, 2024, among others.I’ve authored legal blogs and articles which were published by Jus Corpus, Indian Journal of Law and Legal Research, IP Press, NLIU (Bhopal), MNLU (Mumbai) and NUSRL (Ranchi), while holding several positions of responsibility including the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the NUALS Securities Law Review. I have volunteered to provide legal aid, teach CLAT aspirants and conduct surveys of and sensitization programs for the underprivileged. What I bring to the table is not just academic excellence, research, critical thinking or communication skills, but also an emotional intelligence allowing to think on my feet while facing challenges. Eager to always learn and prove myself, I’m actively seeking internship opportunities in the capital market and general corporate areas.+91••••••••07/a••••••••@gmail.com
