About Abhinav Dahiya
Graduate Researcher at the University of Waterloo\'s Autonomous Systems Lab, I specialize in robotics and machine learning, with a focus on optimal planning for robot fleets, resource allocation, and task scheduling. I apply my skills and knowledge to design strategies for (semi)autonomous robot fleets in various domains, such as autonomous vehicles, logistics and last-mile delivery robots. My current research topic is risk-aware planning for (semi)autonomous fleets, where I integrate stochastic safety requirements into planning frameworks. I also investigate the human factors aspect of these systems, analyzing how operators\' workload, responsibilities, and interruptions affect system efficiency. I have a background in Electrical Engineering, and experience in designing exoskeletons and compliant mechanisms.
