After about a year of freelancing, I assumed a staff position partially funded through the support of the Rubin Institute for Classical Music Criticism, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation. At the Globe, I mostly write preview articles for and reviews of classical, pop, and folk music events relevant to a Boston-area readership. I also write occasional longer feature articles and compile weekly \"The Ticket\" classical concert listings.
