As Director of Employer Relations, I perform a critical role in UNITE-LA’s community impact by facilitating increased employment opportunities, which foster economic growth. I maintain and establish relationships with employers to bridge the gap between teen and young adult job seekers, regional workforce needs and employer demand. The goal is to create mutually beneficial connections.By collaborating with employers and HR leaders, we will lead the development of workforce development strategies aligned with industry needs (with a focus on cleantech, healthcare and technology) to ensure participants gain the skills and competencies required for long-term employment and career success for disadvantaged, overlooked, or system impacted youth.
