ABOUT A. SAID
Summary As a Ph.D. researcher in Labor Relations, my focus is on understanding the challenges that workers face in both their home and work spheres. My research is driven by the belief that the quality of work and life of workers are inextricably linked, and that improving labor conditions in both spheres is essential for creating a sustainable and equitable workplace. Through my research, I explore the impact of socio-economic factors on workers, including the gender pay gap, the digital divide, and the lack of work-life balance. I use qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze labor policies and practices, and to develop evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, unions, and employers. My expertise includes labor law, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, and policy development. I am committed to finding practical solutions that promote worker well-being and social justice. Specialty Areas Labor Relations – Employment Law – Collective Bargaining – Conflict Resolution – Policy Development – Gender Pay Gap – Work-Life Balance – Socio-Economic Factors Impacting Labor Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn to discuss how my research can inform your organization\'s labor policies and practices.
