Mr. Wenzig is an ASNT Fellow, and ASTM member. He serves as ASNT Certification Services, Authorized Training Organization Committee Chair, and as a member of the ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and Advocacy committees, Albert M.(Marty) Wenzig is Principal Consultant for Quality Consultants. He was President / CEO of Industrial Testing Laboratory Services (ITLS) He has an AS in Welding Technology (CCAC) and a BS in Material Science Engineering (University of Pittsburgh.). Mr. Wenzig obtained NDE training from Knolls and Bettis Power Laboratories, Watertown Arsenal, Wright-Patterson, and NDE classes sponsored by ASNT. Mr. Wenzig was an AWS CWI and CWE, NAVSEA Examiner (PT, MT, UT, RT, VT, LT, AI, Metallographic), ASNT NDT Level (PT, MT, RT, UT, VT, LT), ASNT ACCP Professional Level (PT, MT, RT, UT, VT), ISO 9712 / EN-473 Level 3 (PT, MT, RT, UT). ANSI QC Level and ANSI N45.2.23 Lead Auditor. His work experience includes welding technician / inspector at Beaver Valley Power Station (19••••75), a Quality Welding Engineer at Walworth Valve Company (19••••76), surveillances / audits / investigations on Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program contractors for NAVSEA08 with DoD (19••••80), employed as an NDT Manager for ITLS (19••••85). Quality Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Vice President Fabricated Products at Ionics Incorporated (19••••95), Employed at SPEC Consultants as QA Manager, Director of SPEC Technical Institute, and Corporate Mission Manager Rejoined ITLS as Vice President / General and became President (20••••20). Mr. Wenzig successfully defended SPEC Technical Institute (1995), and the ITLS Nuclear Technical Institute school license with the PA Department of Education (2011). He authored the ASNT CP-189 Audit Checklist, and provided technical review for the original ASNT PTP training materials. Mr. Wenzig also enjoys woodworking, playing musical instruments and donating to various charity concerns.
