The Young Leaders Program selects young professionals and scholars to participate in the Pacific Forum-sponsored conferences and events. The program serves as a catalyst for training young professionals in international policy affairs at an early juncture in their careers. The program has four primary objectives:1) To facilitate the professional growth of young professionals in international affairs;2) To generate a greater exchange of views between young and senior professionals;3) To promote cross-cultural interaction and cooperation among young professionals;4) To enrich dialogues with generational perspectives for the benefit of all attendees.

ABOUT ALICE DELLERA

Assistant Professor of Security Studies and International Affairs at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.I hold a Ph.D. in International Relations (2023) and an MA in International Studies (2020) from Florida International University, an MA in Modern Languages for International Communication (Japanese language track)(2017)from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and a BA in Modern Languages and Cultures (English and Japanese)(2013) from the University of Bergamo, Italy. My research focuses on the US alliance network, security in the Indo-Pacific, Japan\'s foreign and security policy, and Japan-U.S. relations. I strive to bring an interdisciplinary lens into my work by integrating my IR training with the knowledge gained during my cultural and linguistic studies.
