Taught undergraduate and graduate courses on subjects such as Environmental Engineering, Solid Waste Management, Engineering Hydrology, Water Treatment Engineering I and II, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Engineering Statistics, Engineering Geology, and Environmental Impact Assessment. Designed and updated course syllabi in accordance with the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework (JNQF), and prepared learning materials, assignments, and exams for new and existing water and environmental engineering courses. Mentored and supervised undergraduate and graduate students in capstone projects and MSc. theses, particularly on topics related to water and environmental engineering, sustainability, pollution control, environmental risks, and the engineering management of water resources and solid waste. Conducted independent and collaborative research on topics such as environmental decontamination, water purification, wastewater treatment, electrochemical treatment, photocatalytic treatment, membrane separations and fouling, nutrient and heavy metal removal, two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials, resource recovery, hydrogen production, next-generation batteries, energy conversion devices, solar cells, and wind turbines. Secured research funding from governmental and non-governmental agencies, receiving over to develop an electro-adsorptive system and for the development of a sustainable sewage sludge management system. Provided expert consultancy to industries and municipalities on waste management, environmental sustainability, and waste infrastructure development, collaborating on grant proposals with Al Mwagar Municipality, including (i) Integrating Solar Energy and Bio-Waste Management for Sustainable Development and (ii) Development and Implementation of a Sustainable Solid Waste Management System for Small and Medium Enterprises
