I am a Systems Engineer. Ivy League. Proud Cornellian. Innovator. Engineering Physicist with over 10 years of Data Science, Design and Quality experience in startup and Fortune 500 companies in the Biotechnology, Medical Device and EV Automotive industries. Successful projects spanning research and development, patent and product launch, production, quality, precision manufacturing and high-throughput manufacturing environments. With a B.S. in Physics from UC San Diego, creativity, modeling and problem-solving methodology flow from First Principles. Chipping away at graduate courses in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, where I am studying business and control systems. Current special interests include no fault found (NFF), model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and cybernetical physics topics covering physics-based signal processing and physics-based image processing, computer vision, information theory, control theory, chaos, decentralized control systems, cyber physical systems, generative AI, AI agents, digital twins and physics informed neural networks (PINN). Past experience in biosensors, microfluidics, MEMS, BioMEMS, lab-on-a-chip, bionanotechnology, nanofabrication, computational fluid dynamics, and physics-based modeling. Vision systems, optical systems, thermoelectric systems, thermal management systems, electrochemical systems, fluidic systems, mechanical systems, electromechanical systems, automation systems, human interaction systems, etc. Well-rounded in MechE, EE, ChemE, BioE and programming. I oversee the quality of production 24/7 for Model 3/Y battery modules in a high throughput manufacturing environment at the Gigafactory. I tamed a notoriously complex zone, saving Tesla approx.$5mil annually and improved quality by over 50 percent. I use my expertise to advise cross functional teams in production, NPI, equipment, and design. Important major impacts in laser welding, adhesives, metrology, design engineering specifications, and computer vision that goes beyond off the shelf packages to get the job done.
