ABOUT NITIN KUMAR
Currently serving as an Application Specialist at Megger, contributing to global application development and technical sales in high-voltage applications, including GIS, transformers, and rotating machines. Leveraging expertise in partial discharge measurement and large-scale infrastructure monitoring, we aim to deliver innovative solutions aligned with customer needs and industry standards. As a Project Manager at Tenneco, I lead steering committee and manage a €1.5M budget for customer projects. I also conduct e-motor design workshops, end to end development, EOL test issues FTA/RCA, and management of Warranty claims. Previously, I was an Application Specialist at Tenneco, where I conducted vehicle tests, managed PV/DV tests on E-Motor systems for AMG vehicles and led workshops to enhance SRM e-motor designs. Before this I was Technical Team Manager handling a team to the tune of 15 deployed at 2 locations. I managed the Test facility for powertrain testing and mentored the team for the serial calibration process for engines. I have expertise in ICE HW and SW development as per ASPICE and Agile needs.I have a B.E in Production Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and certifications in HV systems handling, AVL CONCERTO, AVL PUMA APPLICATION USER, and AVL Cameo. I am passionate about automotive engineering and engine development, and I strive to deliver high-quality results and innovative solutions.
