ABOUT JAVIER VILLEGAS SALMERÓN
I am a biotechnologist with a strong interest in human genetics, disease genomics and bioinformatics. Currently, I am undertaking a PhD in the SFI-CRT PhD programme in Genomic Data Sciences to further my knowledge in these fields, while at the same time continuing my development as a researcher. My current research revolves around epilepsy and using single-cell/spatial sequencing techniques to study the molecular landscape of the disease at the FutureNeuro research center.
