Develops and updates project proposals, logical frameworks, action plans and budgets; • Updates and tracks project workplans, and tracks corresponding expenditure; • Supports project monitoring and evaluation as well as lessons-learned exercises, and collects and organises data for this purpose; • Supports the effective communication with external consultants and arranges their missions, if any; • Supports the preparation and implementation of global activities directly implemented by DRI HQ; • Supports the procurement/recruitment processes and the communication with external providers; • Supports the implementation of programme communication and visibility: preparing materials for DRI’s website, Facebook and Twitter accounts; • Supports the production of publications, including editing and, if necessary, translating project publications; • Supports the organisation and implementation of expert missions, including the preparation of draft contracts and logistical arrangements, as well as workshops and DRI events in project countries or in Berlin; • Coordinates international and national experts and HQ staff travel in accordance with DRI travel and security policy; • Conducts research for project development: possible project countries, themes and funding schemes. Monitors calls for proposals; • Conducts research on current and political affairs with a particular focus on elections, constitutions and democratisation issues;
