ABOUT JAN ZAMBONI

It\'s been several years since I\'ve been engaging in the Automotive business’s journey, I\'ve been covering multiple roles since my studies in Politecnico di Milano, and had the chance to address broad topics and activities in the most disparate areas of the Vehicle developement. Given a background in Mechanical engineering after graduation, I\'ve joined the Bosch Group. My main activities have been in the past dealing with calibration of systems fitted for control of the Vehicle Dynamics and to this matter I could contribute with my effort to the developement, Integration and performance refinement of the ABS and ESP systems following the Engineering V model approach. We\'ve been working both in APAC and Europe closely with the OEMs to achieve results matching the performance requirements for stability safety and controllability of the systems. I worked moreover in the IC Engine area to investigate driveability requirements and validation for an Important Offroad Tractor OEM. During the last years I\'ve got the opportunity to expand my area of competence further to the new braking systems calibration, and with the paradigm shift in the Technology of the automotive business sector, given the new developements of the electrification domain, I\'ve got the chance therefore to cover activities for calibration of the mentioned Systems (IBooster and IVC), coming with the challenges presenting for the new Vehicles increasing complexity. During the pandemic I\'ve considered a new opportunity presented in the Electrification panorama, and Joined the Mechanical team working at Bosch Engineering for the Power Electronics Reliability team. I\'ve been focusing on the DCDC components since then and followed the developement activities from a different perspective, leveraging possibilities given from the Digitalization aspects. I\'ve been working mainly in international environments and I\'ve been travelling during my job activity to cover the given assignments while keeping a close eye over the costs. I am typically curious and open to work together with the Team, I normally strive to find the best balance in the performance and alignment over the stakeholders for the tasks, and tackle the new topics in order to match the common production goals.
