In Metro-Detroit, my early career began in Perishables as a Sr. Cost Accountant at FarmCrest, a large Midwest Commercial Bakery. I designed & created their first computerized Cost Accounting Department. Shortly after, I began an automotive & industrial manufacturing \"rep\" agency with brand name hand and power tool accessories as a \'problem resolution\' sales engineer. In the late 1980\'s I became involved learning OEMs\' JIT warehousing, OSHA Standards,\"Kaizan\" and \"Black Belt\" manufacturing (cell) processes. I added motivational/sales training to help my customers\' sales staffs gain confidence to get the tools necessary to achieve higher goals and comfort levels in sales or in other parts of their lives. In addition, my company was a licensed corporate benefits insurance agency for 22 years. Later, I free-lanced as a (back pocket) discrete high C-level OEM Executive Recruiter before moving to the West in when I knew the automotive bubble burst was going to happen shortly. As co-owner of our family-owned Produce Magic Software (today in Arizona & California), my Team and I strive to aid & service all in Fresh Produce and Perishables to have ALL tools necessary for real-time Inventory, Warehouse/Coolers, Shipping, Farms/Growers, Brokers, Packers/Repacking, Importers/Exporters, Fresh Cut/Food Processing, etc. Tools such as: EDI, GTIN bar-coding, Automatic Pricing, COOL, virtual desktops, iTrade/TruCommerce, Inspections, One-Button Forward & Backward Recalls, Shared costs of Commodities/Lots or costing to a specific Line Item, thorough Profit and Loss Reporting, etc. Our software, Produce Magic, is data-driven, highly flexible, and customizable. We\'ve found over the last 35 years, there is not one company that does business the same way, so our software specifically can follow yours. Our personal goal & mission is to help one further their business by growing, buying, selling, or moving goods and to get out of the \"paper business\" by being as seamless as one wishes, streamlined and with real-time information.
