About Liz Moore

I\'m obsessed with change-planned and unplanned change-and how we as leaders get stopped or inspired by it. How we get floored by it or how we leverage it. The only constant is, as always, change. But now, we are in a new ERA OF UNCERTAINTY where the baseline is expediting, widespread, unexpected change. Some of this change is WELCOME - like confronting systems of oppression and the (sometimes slow) progress around social justice. Sometimes the change is DEVASTATING, like the escalating impacts of climate change.The impact of not having the skill to navigate change means that people are often in a cycle of increasing overwhelm and decreasing impact. PEOPLE ARE GETTING STOPPED. Leaders feel more stretched and less whole. We are so saturated that having a clear vision is hard, and our teams are burnt out. BUT IT DOESN\'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.+Leaders can develop new levels of self-trust and self-acceptance that gives them the confidence to use their unique, special sauce (unapologetically!) and have IMPACT in this world.+Teams can learn to use tools like strategic planning (REAL strategic planning, not operational planning with vision statements) to CREATE THE CHANGE THEY WANT and negate the change that stops them. I have two companies, and they fundamentally do the same thing: break the pattern of getting stopped and give you the confidence to take on your most important work. Our work, my work, is to move the needle by helping you move the needle. If we all show up and do our part-however big or small-the ripple effect will be extraordinary.
