My main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of the companies various websites. This involves working closely with designers to turn their static Photoshop designs into working pages, including creating image sprites to help keep load time to a minimum. I also work closely with the server-side developers to implement their server-side code in order to develop complex, interactive and database driven websites.We are using CSS, CSS3 & SASS to style the front end, HTML & HTML5 to specify the layout and JavaScript, jQuery & Apache Velocity to build in client side functionality.I work in an agile environment using Jenkins for CI, Jira for project and issue tracking and our version control is handled by SubVersion (SVN).
