About Dan Levine
Dan Levine, Practice Leader, Location Strategies and Economic Development, joined Oxford Economics in 2014 where he has led economic development projects throughout the Western Hemisphere including projects in Brazil (airline hub), The Bahamas (strategy), Guyana (aviation) and Puerto Rico (Science Park). Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Dan led the Location and Incentives Consulting Practice at ADP, Inc, owned and operated a boutique corporate relocation consulting company, MetroCompare LLC and was Director, Incentive Negotiation Practice (northeast) at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. In these capacities, Dan completed corporate relocation studies throughout the United States including projects for call, business process outsourcing, and shared service centers; manufacturing plants and headquarters locations. Dan has negotiated incentive packages cumulatively worth well over $100 million. Past clients include Burlington Coat, LATAM, Citigroup, Dyson, Whitson Food, Superior Cake, Novartis, and the Biotechnology Council of New Jersey. At Oxford Economics, Dan has also led numerous projects that help industry understand and respond to complex regulatory challenges (such as the fiduciary rule or overtime rules) and completed economic impact studies on behalf of leading companies such as Google, Charter Communications, and PepsiCo. Dan previously served as Assistant State Treasurer of New Jersey where he led many of that state’s economic development efforts, spearheaded the creation of a first in the nation incentive program targeting retention, successfully privatized the state aquarium, and negotiated a master development agreement for the waterfront in Camden, NJ. Dan is a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government (Masters) and earned his BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
