I am currently the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy in Research and Development for SAS Institute. My past roles have included Director of Consulting Services and Enterprise Architecture, Manager of Systems Engineering in the DoD and Intelligence Community, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Technology Architect, Enterprise Architect (including Principal Enterprise Architect), Solution Architect (Including Principal and Senior roles), Data Center Manager, Messaging Architect (Including Lead and Principal),and other technology positions in the technology space.All of these positions have allowed for increased levels of managerial and budgetary responsibilities, and have allowed me to grow both business and technology skills. After many years of honing my entrepreneurial skills, I would like to leverage this experience and bring my technological skills to bear within an organization that could benefit from this unique marriage of technology, business, and entrepreneurship.My goal would be to earn a position as an executive in technology executive management, chief architect or evangelist within an organization which would allow me to establish a technology and security vision, and follow this vision through to completion. I enjoy the details of the technology, but also pride myself on my ability to see the business or organizational drivers where technology can deliver, and identify where it falls short. I understand the current limitations of technology, and also can provide vision and guidance to establish a roadmap to achieve the previously unseen. I am an extremely organized individual, that is motivated and ready to take on new challenges.

To work towards these goals, I lead teams in the approach and infrastructure of the SAS global Research and Development organization, from strategy to tactical delivery of technical systems, services, and processes. My customers are SAS Developers and Testers in Research and Development and, ultimately, every consumer of SAS Software.
