I’m a senior full stack / manufacturing CTO who designs and builds custom ERP, quoting, and scheduling systems for job shops and prototype manufacturers.Over the last 20+ years I’ve: • Gone from shop-floor operator to General Manager to Director of Software / CTO. • Architected and built a custom ERP + automated quoting system (C#.NET, SQL Server, Dapper) for a sheet-metal manufacturer as the sole developer. • Used CAD/SolidWorks, Theory of Constraints, and custom software to increase capacity, reduce late jobs, and cut quoting/engineering time per part.I started using CAD in 1998 while in college and quickly ended up in management, where I discovered Eliyahu Goldratt’s It’s Not Luck and fell in love with the Theory of Constraints. That thinking shaped the rest of my career.In 2003, I joined RAPID as the only sheet metal engineer and built out their first engineering and estimating teams, using SolidWorks to streamline the work. When we hired our first full-time.NET developer in 2012, I dove into C# and SQL and helped create tools like eRAPID, internal portals, and scheduling/reporting systems that supported multiple divisions.My favorite work has been R&D-style roles where I can combine: • Estimating + Engineering + Software Development • To identify and eliminate bottlenecks • And then prove the results with shipping volume, on-time delivery, and fewer RMAs.In short: I love CAD, SolidWorks, and software development, but my real passion is using them together to design systems that increase capacity and make manufacturing shops run measurably better.If you’re building or modernizing an ERP/quoting/scheduling platform—especially in manufacturing or AI-driven automation—that’s where I do my best work.
