As an Artillery Mechanic in the military, I developed a strong foundation in mechanical skills and a deep appreciation for teamwork and leadership. My experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment taught me to think critically and quickly troubleshoot problems, skills that have proven invaluable throughout my career.After leaving the military, I pursued further education in automotive technology and mathematics, building on my experience and knowledge. I also completed LinkedIn learning courses, which included a Project Management course, helping me develop essential skills in planning, organization, and communication.As a technical writer, I have used my knowledge and expertise to create detailed, accurate, and engaging documentation for complex aerospace products and systems. I have also worked extensively with XML and PTC Windchill software, gaining a deep understanding of their applications and uses.In addition to my technical skills, I have also demonstrated strong leadership capabilities, including managing teams and projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing guidance and support to colleagues. My experience in the aerospace industry has allowed me to expand my knowledge and expertise in this exciting and ever-changing field.Overall, I am proud of my military service and the skills it instilled in me, which have carried over into my career as a mechanical engineer, technical writer, and leader. I am committed to continuing to grow and learn in my field, and I look forward to new challenges and opportunities to make a difference in the world.
