I lead Safety Operations for Uber in the UK, one of the company’s most challenging regulatory environments. I manage a team of 7 and own the UK policy framework for handling serious and critical incidents, covering triage, escalation, investigations, safeguarding and post-incident learning.Alongside incident readiness and response, I lead cross-functional programmes that enhance safety at scale, including the development of user education, implementation of risk controls, and the deployment of new and improved safety product features. I work at the intersection of public safety, regulation and technology, partnering closely with TfL, the Metropolitan Police and The Survivors Trust, as well as internal teams across Legal, Policy, Government Affairs and Product.In 2024–2025 I defined the UK Safety Plan, contributing to a 10% reduction across key safety KPIs, and I regularly present to the UK Board with accountability for safety outcomes.
