Manage structuring, negotiating and drafting agreements for Long-form (TV & Film), Digital Video and Podcasting Programming and Brand Partnerships including long-form agreements relating to rights (e.g, literary option and purchase agreement and life rights agreements), creative, talent, development, production, distribution, licensing, sales agent and business/revenue. Lead attorneys & paralegals. Manage outside counsel. Facilitated UMG’s adoption of technological business solutions by tailoring “bespoke” deals such as with Create Music, a new talent finding platform and claiming business. Standardized legal processes for new division, Polygram Entertainment, by developing templates to enable development, production and distribution of music-driven television and film projects with consistency. Sped up green-lighting of projects and improved tracking of key dates for financing, production, talent and distribution by implementing approval and tracking procedures. Negotiated deals for development, production, sale and distribution of film and television projects (e.g, Pavarotti documentary, Ice Cold docuseries, Fox Animation scripted feature and Netflix feature film), generating multi-million dollars in revenue.
