Every business venture begins in the mind of a visionary – for 1iota, that Visionary is Robert Crawford. Crawford earned his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida (Go Gators) where his focus was Television Production. After graduation, Crawford moved to New York City and worked as a casting director with MTV Networks. Rob\'s experience with shows such as the MTV VMAs and MTV Spring Break Beach House displayed to him the unrivaled power of true fan passion in television. This led Crawford to found 1iota with one goal in mind – to secure the best audiences possible for televised productions by finding the most energetic, passionate fans of those productions. In 2002, Crawford co-founded 1iota in a small office in West Hollywood. In the twelve years since, 1iota has grown from a two-man outfit to a bi-coastal operation with over 150 active employees, and a fanbase membership of over one millions registered members – an evolution under the constant direction of Rob Crawford.
