ABOUT SEAN DUFFY
As a dedicated school leader with experience of leading two secondary schools, I focus on collegial practices and collaborative approaches to create shared strategic vision, ethos and aims to inspire and motivate all stakeholders. I set high expectations through being a visible presence across the school and lead and empower colleagues to establish and sustain a culture of mutual respect and trust which enables every learner to achieve and attain. Throughout my career as a transformational leader I have experience in many leadership roles of implementing sustained and continuous improvement. Subsequently, through leading improvement projects at local, national and international level with a range of partners I have facilitated raising achievement and attainment and improved outcomes for learners.A firm believer in Career Long Professional Learning, I seek opportunities to critically engage with policy, research and practice and develop a culture which promotes and sustains high-quality practice to improve myself and staff around me. Consequently, I have acquired the Scottish Qualification for Headship and an MEd in Educational Leadership which focussed on improving and cultivating middle leadership and curriculum development.I welcome opportunities to collaborate with fellow educational leaders, policymakers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of education.
