Led the Clinical Group at GSK Clinical Imaging Centre by managing the clinical staff, imaging team, doctors, nurses, and training manager. Nominated with GSK GOLD AWARD, GSK BRONZE AWARD and GSK STRIVE RESPECT AWARD for ‘Outstanding Leadership and GCP compliance’ at GlaxoSmithKline. Successfully conducted in compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines clinical trials in various therapeutic areas including myocardial infarction, osteoporosis, diabetes, COPD, and Oncology. In 2007 whilst in Astellas Pharma Europe achieved the AWARD title of ‘Employee of the Year’. Highly experienced in Diabetes, trained by the Portuguese Diabetes Association (APDP). As a Specialist Clinical Fellow in Neuro-Rehabilitation with special interest in Spinal Cord Injuries, Acute Medicine, General Medicine, Endocrinology & Diabetes, Care of the Elderly, Neurosciences, Stroke and General Surgery became a Locum Doctor to NHS Wales. Successfully became Stroke Registrar Locum Doctor, and Acting as Stroke Consultant as required Wycombe Hospital - Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust/ NHS England. Nominated for award in ANNUAL BTH AWARDS 2022/23 by Buckinghamshire Healthcare /NHS England and received a CERTIFICATE OF MERIT - CARE VALUE AWARD ASPIRE. More recently successfully promoted to Consultant Geriatrics in NHS England, currently Lead Consultant Geriatrics at Frimley Park Hospital- NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust.
